Art & Plastic Surgery

A Plastic Surgeon requires a vast amount of surgical experience and an artistic balance, to view the most minute details of a face or body and then envision a manner to allow them to blossom into a natural and refreshed appearance, that maintains your personal identity.

There can be no higher form of art than to work on the human body. One must harness similar powers of thought, conceptualization and execution when sculpting the face of a beautiful living soul or when creating a facsimile of life in clay, stone or wood.

Art opens my mind and allows me to do what others only dream of. There is joy in creating in all forms of art which is expressed as my passionate desire to bring joy to my patients.

Most of the art you see required a forward-thinking process. If it could be imagined, then I knew it could be accomplished, perhaps not this day or next but surely tomorrow. I always hesitate to surrender to those who say something cannot be realized.

I have been fortunate to exhibit my art in various venues in Connecticut, New York and France. It takes the form of a host of diverse media: painting, photography, sculpting, writing poetry & children’s books.
